Anne is a charter member of HTI and was on the founding Board of Directors, serving on the Board 8 years, 1996 – 2004. She was the second President of HTI, following Janet Mentgen, the founder. Anne continues to be an active member of the HTI Education Committee and has been a Lead Instructor of the Practitioner Level HT classes. HTI is an nonprofit organization, holding the mission of spreading healing and light through heart-centered practice and teaching of Healing Touch worldwide.
Anne founded Healing Touch Hawaii in 1996 to provide an island-based Healing Touch Center, offering classes, support groups, and practice clinics in Healing Touch. The vision of Healing Touch Hawaii is to teach people of all ages about the inner power of healing and how to use this energy to facilitate self-healing as well as the healing of others. Classes are offered on all of the Hawaiian islands throughout the year and there are on-going practice and support groups available.
In 2006, Anne was part of a small group which came together for the intention of providing on-going connection of all Healing Touch Practitioners and students within California. The first Healing Touch California Symposium was in the spring of 2007 with a great community response. In 2010 Healing Touch was incorporated as a 501.c3 nom-profit organization and Anne was on the founding Board of Directors. She continues as the President of Healing Touch California and is dedicated to their mission: to inspire, educate and support all Healing Touch Practitioners and students in expanding the Light of Healing Connection and by effectively promoting, encouraging and advancing the philosophy, objectives and techniques of Healing Touch therapy and energy medicine in order to serve the public.
