The Healing Power of Love
We have all heard that love is powerful, but how many of us really understand the energy that makes love powerful? Choosing Love over Fear has been taught by many, but not an easy choice sometimes. The world events, the gun violence and untimely death of children, bring fear to our hearts and we can feel the response in our bodies. Don’t you feel heavier when those thoughts dominate your mind? This is when we need to choose the “song of our souls” – Love.
David Hawkins, in his book, Power vs. Force talks about the energy calibration of every emotion. The higher energy levels of vibration are peace, love, joy, kindness and optimism. The lower levels of energy are anger, sadness, guilt, hatred and judgement. These calibrations weaken rather than strengthen people and lower their ability to distinguish truth from falsehood. He tells us that 87% of humanity calibrates at a collective energy level that weakens them. Wow! However, high-energy people counter-balance low-energy people, but in a much greater impact than a one-to-one relationship. David Hawkins tells us that one person vibrating to the energy of unconditional love and reverence for life counterbalances thousands of people who calibrate at the lower weakening levels. This is a profound idea! As we practice daily centering in the energy of the heart (compassion, harmony, healing presence, and unconditional love), and balancing our own lives, we make a major impact on improving the world around us. Have you ever noticed when you walk into a room of angry or complaining people, that you can choose to change the energy of the room by your energy and your words? Janet Mentgen, the founder of Healing Touch, gave us this directive: “With every step as you walk through life – bring Light.”
Albert Einstein, in a letter to his daughter, wrote this about love: “Love is Light, that enlightens those who give and receive it. Love is gravity, because it makes some people feel attracted to others. Love is power, because it multiplies the best we have, and allows humanity not to be extinguished in their blind selfishness. Love unfolds and reveals.
This force explains everything and gives meaning to life. This is the variable that we have ignored for too long, maybe because we are afraid of love because it is the only energy in the universe that man has not learned to drive at will. To give visibility to love, I made a simple substitution in my most famous equation. If instead of E = mc2, we accept that the energy to heal the world can be obtained through love multiplied by the speed of light squared, we arrive at the conclusion that love is the most powerful force there is, because it has no limits. After the failure of humanity in the use and control of the other forces of the universe that have turned against us, it is urgent that we nourish ourselves with another kind of energy. If we want our species to survive, if we are to find meaning in life, if we want to save the world and every sentient being that inhabits it, love is the one and only answer. However, each individual carries within them a small but powerful generator of love whose energy is waiting to be released. When we learn to give and receive this universal energy, we will have affirmed that love conquers all, is able to transcend everything and anything, because love is the quintessence of life.”
We must remember we are on this earth at this time to be Light-Workers – to hold a high vibration! Let us set the intention to begin each day with centering and connecting with Universal Love, Peace and Wisdom. Let us ask to see others around us as loving helpers, there to teach us how to grow, challenging us to choose a loving response, rather than reacting with anger and fear. If we walk “the path of the healer” we will be mindful of our thoughts. If we do respond in anger we will notice and quickly forgive others, and ourselves thus creating a renewed vibration of energy. This creates a radiance of our true essence that will influence all others around us. Thus, we will be truly contributing to the Healing of the world through holding the high vibration of the power of love.
